A new industry for the region and the republic in the field of mechanical engineering is the automotive industry. Today, it occupies a quarter of the manufacturing output of the region.

The enterprise SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, due to the cooperation with the nine largest global automotive brands, has expanded its product line.Today, the company produces JAC, Peugeot, Hyundai, Ravon, Niva Chevrolet passenger cars, as well as IVECO, Ankai, Man, commercial vehicles. With the entry of the Chinese investor CMC into the capital of the Allure Group of Companies, rapid growth in this industry is expected.

In the near future, it is planned to produce up to 70 thousand cars a year with a localization level of 50%. Another company in the field of mechanical engineering is Agromash Holding KZ JSC. The company manufactures combine harvesters of the ESSIL brand and is the exclusive distributor of Gomselmash JSC products in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The share of local content in harvesters reaches 100% of the produced nodes and 60% in ready-made combines.

Currently, the company is launching a project for the production of combine harvesters New Holland of TC Series, together with a foreign partner CNH. Moreover, active work is underway to implement the project for the production of tractors and other tools and aggregates. The company has a service and sales network with 8 branches and 11 representative offices in all grain-sowing regions of the country.

In order to create an automotive cluster in the region, the issue of attracting foreign companies for the implementation of projects, including joint ones, is being considered.
