On May 21, 2019, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the Kostanay region.

The head of state took part in the forum of Kazakhstan-Russian youth cooperation "Volunteering - the social lift of youth."

Before the beginning of the forum, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev examined the exhibition of youth STARTUP-projects, and also got acquainted with the activities of the Youth Service Center of Kostanay region.

In his speech, the Head of State recalled that the development of the volunteer movement in our country is being given serious attention.

Also, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev focused on the main events held during the Year of Youth.

The President of Kazakhstan called on the leaders of the volunteer movement to actively participate in solving the large-scale social problems facing the country.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev made a number of proposals aimed at stimulating the partnership of voluntary movements of the two countries.

In addition, the Head of State supported the initiative expressed during the forum by youth leaders to declare 2020 the Year of Volunteers, to conduct joint archaeological and exploratory expeditions to historical and cultural sites.

The head of state also familiarized himself with the activities of the Saryarka AvtoProm automobile manufacturing enterprise.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was told about the prospects for the development of the plant, the strategy of creating new production facilities. Then the President examined the universal body painting shop and the serial production of cars using the large-node method (DKD).

The President noted that today Kazakhstan is building a modern high-tech economy that meets international quality standards.

Within the framework of the visit, foreign investors working in this industry presented their projects to the Head of State.

During the visit to the public reception center "iKomek", the Head of State informed about the work of the single contact center "Call-Center 109" and the progress of the project "Open Akimat".

The President also familiarized himself with the activities of the situational monitoring and rapid response center.

At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented letters of appreciation for his contribution to the country's socio-economic and cultural development.

The last object of the visit was LLP "Olzha Sadchikovskoye".

The head of state reviewed the production figures of Olzha Sadchikovskoye LLP, which is engaged in plant growing and animal husbandry. The enterprise provides meat and dairy products with the internal need of the Kostanay region and other regions of the country.

The president was shown the capabilities of an analytical and digital system in the processing of agricultural products.

As part of the visit, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev talked with agricultural producers of the region.

The head of state highly appreciated the development of the agrarian sector of the region, which makes a significant contribution to ensuring the country's food security.

The meeting participants expressed their gratitude to Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev for the state support to the farmers.
