During a working trip to Kostanay region, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov visited a number of social facilities and enterprises implemented within the framework of the Auyl - El Besigi project and public-private partnership. He also met with residents and representatives of public associations of the region.

In the village of Zarechnoye, the head of the Ministry of Energy got acquainted with the construction of the Ybyray wind farm with a capacity of 50 MW. The project cost is 26 billion tenge.

In the city of Kostanay, the head of the Ministry of National Economy visited the plant "Agromashholding KZ", which is the largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan. In January-February of this year, the company produced products worth 5.5 billion tenge. The production provides jobs for 423 people.

On the same day, the Minister met with residents and representatives of public associations of Kostanay region. In particular, the issues of employment, rural development, construction of social facilities, housing lending under the project "With a diploma in the village" were touched upon.

"This year, within the framework of the project "With a diploma to the village", 20 billion tenge is provided for the provision of budget loans for the purchase of housing. Of these, over 1 billion tenge for 246 specialists in Kostanay region," A.Kuantyrov said.

According to the Minister, the Auyl - El Besigi project is being actively implemented in the regions. This year, 120 billion tenge has been allocated in the republic. 1,044 projects will be implemented covering 570 settlements. It is planned to cover 32 villages in Kostanay region.

The Ministry is also working to improve regional policy. Last year, 4 projects worth 750 million tenge were implemented in Kostanay region.

"At the same time, in pursuance of the instruction of the Head of State, a new mechanism of preferential lending to SMEs in the regions has been introduced. The implementation of these state support measures will create favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses," the head of the Ministry of National Economy said.

Alibek Kuantyrov stressed that according to the results of last year, more than 1 thousand projects for a total amount of loans of 45 billion tenge were subsidized in the framework of the programs "Business Roadmap-2025" and "Economy of Simple Things" in Kostanay region.

After meeting with residents and representatives of public associations, the head of the MNE held a personal reception of citizens.

During the second day of the working visit, the Minister visited the village of Altynsarino. He inspected the Altynsara comprehensive school, where major repairs were carried out on "Auyl - El besigi". About 200 children study here.

The Minister also visited the facilities built under the PPP program. Among them is the new Ice Palace in Kostanay. The building area is more than 8 thousand sq.m. It is designed for 2,500 seats. Also, as part of the PPP, a 50-meter swimming pool was built in the city. The capacity of the sports complex is 100 people per hour. Its area is about 4 thousand sq.m. In addition, the head of the Ministry of National Economy visited the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies in the Kostanay region, where they discussed tariff policy.
