Despite this, the enterprises of the region have provided the necessary production rates and saved jobs, and our region has confirmed its level of economic and industrial potential,-said the head of the region Archimedes Mukhambetov.

The akim of the region also noted the work of small and medium-sized businesses.

-Not only large enterprises contribute to the development of industry in the region, but also small and medium-sized businesses. Thus, a quarter of the products produced by SMEs fall on the manufacturing industry," he added.

In the region, 864 industrial enterprises are engaged in the production of industrial products, employing about 42 thousand people.

According to the results of 4 months of this year, industrial enterprises produced products worth 793.1 billion tenge, which is 18.2% higher than the same period last year, the index of physical volume of industry is 101.5%.

This year, it is planned to launch a new direction "Regional financing of small and medium-sized businesses", which provides for the provision of loans to SMEs in the amount of up to 500 million tenge, with a final rate lower than in existing state programs (1-4%).

It should be noted that the measures taken to improve state support measures have given a significant impetus to the development of entrepreneurship, including in rural areas.
