Welcoming the guests, akim of the region, Archimedes Mukhambetov, informed that the turnover of the Kostanay region with France in 2018 amounted to more than 2 million US dollars.

“Certainly not a big turnover, but we are growing,” the regional akim added.

As an example, A. Mukhambetov cited SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, on the basis of which they produce cars of the French brand Peugeot.

Otrada companies (Establishment of a pig breeding company in Kazakhstan for deliveries to the local market and export to China) and Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering (production and supply of helicopters) presented their projects.

“We are ready to consider the proposals of French investors, in case of interest in locating production facilities in the industrial zone, as well as in other regions of the region, we are ready to support them,” the regional akim summarized.
