According to the Park management, more than 1 billion people in 193 countries around the world use mobile applications developed by resident HTP companies. Five of the ten largest global corporations (according to Forbes ratings) are HTP customers.
It is also noteworthy that the Park has developed a computer game that entered Top-5 of the most profitable multiplayer games in the world - World of Tanks and the world-famous Viber messenger. Moreover, almost every year the company has an “success story” to implement the project.
In general, 91% of the software produced in the Park is exported (43.2% is supplied to the USA, 49.1% to the countries of Western Europe, 5.3% to Russia and the CIS). In monetary terms, in 2017, the export of manufactured products amounted to more than 1 billion US dollars. On the success of activities in the implementation of IT projects, such companies as Gartner, Wall Street Journal and others call it the Belarusian silicon valley.
During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in specific areas of the implementation of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan”, including increasing computer literacy of the population, introducing SmartCity technologies, including digitalization of the security, education and health sectors, as well as digitization of agriculture.
Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the implementation of joint activities in the above areas.
In the afternoon, a meeting was held with the Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee (Minsk City Executive Committee) Krekov Alexander Petrovich and heads of structural divisions. The parties presented information on the socio-economic development of their regions, and discussed possible areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
There were discussed such areas as the implementation of joint investment projects, in particular the creation of an assembly production of MTZ tractors on the territory of the Kostanay region, holding joint events and the exchange of experience in the fields of education and tourism. Also, the Belarusian side is interested in the possibility of organizing the supply of durum wheat from Kostanay region.
All the issues discussed in the near future will be recorded in the road map for the implementation of cooperation of the Kostanay region and the city of Minsk. The Belarusian side was invited to visit Kostanay region with a return visit.
